We love conducting our sales and meeting new people. We have been professionally conducting Estate Sales in the Central Florida area since November of 2005.
About me
I have eight wonderful children (and yes, I had them one by one!), 17 beautiful grandchildren! I grew in the love and fascination of what my mother would call “early junk” on visits to my grandmother. She would teach me fascinating things about books, antiques, and unusual items. My aunt once told me, "everything is a collectible". Now that my children are all on their own, I have decided to do what I love. I love old, unique things and helping people. Being an estate sales professional gives me the opportunity to do both. Now that I am in my 18th year of business, I want to thank everyone who has supported my estate sales company. I truly enjoy what I do and will continue to try to do my best to meet customers needs, keep prices fair, and help anyone I can to liquidate with the least hassle possible with integrity and sensitivity. I hope you will give Class Act Estate Sales a try.
how i got here
I started the estate sale business after finding myself single with 8 children. I had always been a homemaker and cherished the years I was able to be home with my children. One day I had a conversation with my mom about starting a cafe or tea room and she said that whatever you do, you should love it 24/7. When I mentioned that I was also thinking of doing Estate sales, she said “hello…you already do that 24/7” as I had gone to garage sales most of my life and would buy and resell items. Also, having a large family taught me great organizational skills. It does not overwhelm me to look at a large mess and have a vision for it. That statement changed the course of my life. I did substitute teaching while I was building the business and after about five years I focused only on the business as I was able to start supporting myself. It has been a gift to raise my children. Even though there were many hard times, it has made me a different person and for that, I am grateful.
This is the most recent picture of my whole family together minus 5 grand babies not born at that time. Seventeen in all! Most of my children have become entrepreneurs. I am very proud of them all.
